| so yesterday, i'm in the hospital and i walk into the room to see my patient. but right after i walk in, the nurse comes into ask some quick questions and draw some labs, so i'm kinda just making small talk with both the patient and the nurse, waiting for her to leave.
then, she finally leaves.... and all of a sudden, inside my mind, i thought about turning to him and yelling at him Jack Bauer-style, "it's just you and me now. WHO DO YOU WORK FOR? WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME!"
obviously, i didn't and just asked him about his history and the medications he was taking... but it was in the back of my mind.
man... 24 is such a good show. don't ruin anything from this past week please, i'm one episode behind.
ps: what the mugga? a guy just walked into coffee bean with a bird on his shoulder. not a parrot. looks like a normal pigeon, but it's green.

| weird... i'm studying at coffee bean, and the speakers are playing the same song that i'm listening to on headphones with like a 10 second delay. it sounds trippy. does that mean i study too much here?

| my experience on psychiatry has been VERY eye-opening and enjoyable (i definitely don't disregard it as much as I used to, and I don't think it is incompatible with being a Christian... in fact, i think it is more Christ-like than many other specialties), but this one comment in my textbook seemed a bit ridiculous...
One of "pathological gambling's predisposing factors include ... lack of family emphasis on budgeting or saving money."
